CISDI has one of its core businesses as rolling, mainly engaged in plant design, process design and technology integration for rolling mills, and enjoys dominating competence in areas of hot strip mills (HSM), (heavy) plate mills (HPM) and Steckel mills. Hot Strip Mill

Against its unique technological predominance in rolling mill, CISDI has contracted most of China’s hot strip mils since the mid-1990s and still undertaken the design for modernization of the 1700mm HSMs of ISPAT KARME in Kazakhstan and Pakistan Steel.

Superior in plate mill engineering, CISDI has been consecutively awarded contracts for several heavy plate mills since 2000. That benefits CISDI in acquiring a lot of experience in plate mill process, and plates-/coils Steckel mill process, mill design, finishing equipment design and automation control and thus enjoying technological uniqueness and market shares of its own.

Cold Strip Mill

CISDI started its cold rolling mill engineering with the construction of CSM for PZH. Up to now, CISDI has supplied design or EPC services of over 10 cold rolling mills and their supporting facilities.
