Master Plan

Baosteel is China’s biggest and most modernized iron & steel complex. During phase I, II & III, all the design work have all been generally contracted and specifically done by CISDI. With regard to technology imports till independent design, CISDI has gone all out to make its name in building one of the best references at Baosteel and improving its own expertise.

In construction of Baosteel, CISDI has gone through introduction, digestion, innovation in practice and then applying the results to new projects. In return, CISDI’s engineering design has been awarded the sole national special grade for best engineering design, 6 national grades for excellent design and 5 national awards for R&D achievements.

Panzhihua, a large-sized iron & steel base completely designed by local companies, has won justifiably a good fame of “ivory steel sculpture”. The whole Panzhihua plan and almost every design have been accomplished by painstaking efforts and wisdom of several generations of CISDI staffers.

CISDI’s engineering work in Panzhihua has been granted 4 national excellent awards and 2 national grades for R&D results.
