CISDI Engineering Co., Ltd. (CISDI), a specialized engineering company of MCC, (China Metallurgical Group Corporation) is pioneering in design and backed by technical expertise, project management and financing solutions. Chongqing Iron and Steel Designing Institute, one of the most competitive designing institutes serving the metal industry has shifted its main business and related qualifications to CISDI Engineering Co. Ltd., and the latter has been ranked among top five survey and engineering companies in China since 2000 in terms of operating revenue.
CISDI is located in central downtown of Chongqing, the youngest municipality directly under the Central Government. With two national engineering masters, forty-six experts with outstanding contribution subsidy from the State of Council and over five hundred senior engineers, CISDI is well structured and equipped.
CISDI who made its name by its independent design of Panzhihua Iron & Steel Corporation (PZH), the iron & steel base in southwestern China, and plant design of Baosteel, and has further consolidated its leading position by EPC and EP services in recent years. CISDI has been awarded with over 200 prizes by the state and the ministry.
CISDI is in a position to provide overall engineering to large iron & steel complex, and is especially good at overall plant planning, bulk material storage and handling, large-sized blast furnaces, large-sized converters, secondary refining, slab caster, hot strip mill, plate mill/steckel mill, reversible cold strip/plate mill, processing line, automation system integration, industrial water treatment, industrial and civil buildings, gas holder, etc. CISDI is currently providing engineering design, EPC contracting and equipment integration services to many big steel producers in China as well as in Brazil and Japan, etc.
CISDI has always attached great importance to the technological R&D and renovation, and has set up separate R&D center, test and manufacturing base. 4% of the operating revenue has been directly invested in technological R&D annually, which enables CISDI to have acquired many core technologies with proprietary intellectual property right. CISDI has been granted with over 200 patents.
